Putting my life together

Hey y'all!! I was just informed that my blog is half in French (the dates and such). Since I created it in France, the internet defaulted it to French--I hope you can figure out what it all means because I cannot really find a way to change it.

In the last day I was contacted via facebook by an assistant and a former assistant who are currently in town, so I should be able to meet up with them both this week to explore and compare notes on banks, phones, apartments, etc. It's so strange to enter the 'real world' and have to do it in French!

My mother sent me a nice list of subjects she would like to see discussed on this blog, so I will do my best to work my way through that! Since I'm free at the moment, I'll tackle one of the easier ones right now:

How far is Normandy from where you live?
It's the next region over! In this map, note that Rennes is in Bretagne, and then going east are the Basse and Haute (Low and High) Normandie regions. I also have a friend who will be an assistant in Rouen, and you can see where Paris is in relation to us too.
